The Greene Mountain Dulcimers
Poplar, Oval and Teardrop
These dulcimesr are made of solid Poplar wood with bookmatched top, backs, and sides. The fretboard is overlaid with Cherry. These dulcimers are available at Wood-n-Strings Dulcimer Shop in Townsend TN, or by contacting me.
Walnut Plus, Oval and Teardrop
The dulcimers are made with solid Walnut bookmatched backs and sides and your choice of wood for the top, and fretboard overlay. The tops shown here are Butternut, and the fretboard is overlain with ebony. These dulcimers are only available by special order.
The Teacher's Dulcimer
These dulcimers are made of 1/4" plywood and are offered as an alternative to the Cardboard ones many dulcimer teachers use. They are usually sold in pairs and are very reasonably priced. These dulcimers are only available by special order.
Basic Electric Dulcimer
The Basic Electric Dulcimer is just that. It is made of a solid Poplar baseboard, a bookmatched top and overlaid fretboard. It has a single electric pick-up and no volume control. These dulcimers are only available by special order.
